These Historic District Guidelines contain the principals used by the HDC to make decisions about appropriate treatments for historic resources.
The guidelines are generally based on the Secretary of the Interiors Standards for Rehabilitation and specifically based on the types of historic resources associated with the city of Shelbyville.
